Development FAQ's

WebSiteMovers.com can tackle most all types of development projects including ‘taking over’ where your former developer left off, performing ongoing upgrades/maintenance, enhancements etc., development of an e-commerce storefront, to creating an enterprise class custom database-driven application for a Fortune 100 corporation. We also specialize in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Blog implementation using Joomla, Drupal, WordPress and many other contemporary open source web applications.
What types of programming languages do you use and support?
We offer 2 simple options for you to engage us for your programming/development needs. First, we can work on an hourly Time & Materials (T&M) basis, where we will work under a fixed hourly rate, and you only pay for work you approve based on tasks you assign us and we complete for you. The second option is a Fixed-Feet Project based on clear deliverables and milestones that we mutually define.
How do you handle programming ‘bugs’?
We’re probably not the first to admit this, but literally every software application has ‘bugs’. The key is to make sure that your software application performs the way you need it to, ‘on-time every-time’. If you had another developer build some application(s) for you, and some parts of it don’t work the way you expect, we will help you clarify/validate if the problem is indeed a bug and if so, we will resolve/repair the bugs to your satisfaction. If we build/develop any new software application(s) for you, we always warranty our work and are available to resolve any programmatic functional errors that may exist after you have accepted our work.
I’m not a ‘techie’ - how do I know that your work will be done right?
No need to worry; actually it’s not as important to understand the technical details about how software programs work as it is to know simply what the application needs to do! As long as you know and can describe the function and/or process of your workflow, etc., we can help you understand in layperson terms what we are going to do programmatically to make sure the application works properly and as you expect it to. It is also very important that you fully test all programs and applications when we ask you to do so; this portion of the work is called Client Review and will allow you to make sure the work is done as specified.
